Objectives

To make girl students aware of their social and legal rights and to equip them to stand against gender violence and gender discrimination.
The cell shall meet at least twice every academic year and the intervening period between two meetings shall not exceed six months
In addition the chairperson of the cell can call a special meeting at any time whenever any matter arises
The cell shall investigate and review any complaints made by woman staff and girl students of the college.
In case of any untoward incidences against any girl/woman employee arises the cell will be responsible for on the spot enquiry in to the incident, assessment of the incident and necessary action that would have to be taken.
Organizing expert lectures, group discussions, speech and debate on gender issues to make all students aware of gender equity and to help students to change their mindset and attitudes towards life in terms of Women.
Arranging lectures of highly qualified and successful women to develop responsible and value oriented leadership in female students.
Ensuring that basic amenities of hygiene are provided in the college.
To ensure implementation of the directions as may be laid down by the university and other constituents applicable to the institute.
