The Department of Basic Science and Humanities is established in the year 2012. The department focuses on delivering quality education for meeting the global challenges of science and technology. The department has well qualified, experienced and highly motivated faculty members. The Department of Basic Science and Humanities offers courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Environmental & Social Sciences and Communication Skills. Based on the needs of various disciplines, the department is imparting the updated curriculum from time to time. The department feeds the budding engineer with the finer aspects of science that makes them to explore, innovate and contribute to the technological advancements of tomorrow.
