About AITD Central Library
The Central Library of AITD is a Knowledge Centre and houses a rich collection of resources primarily in Mechanical engineering, Computer engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering and Management Studies. The premise of the library is located on the second floor of the admin block , encompassing an area of 400 sq.m. The library functions as an open access system for its students and faculty members. It plays a vital role in supporting the educational objectives of its parent institution.
Agnel Institute of Technology and Design (AITD) Central Library has an organized collection of information resources such as journals(national, international, e-journals), books, CDs, newspapers, magazines, NPTEL videos made accessible to the students and staff of AITD for reference or borrowing. The wide range of resources available cover the information needs of students and faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Management Studies.
In addition to this, the library has taken a step forward to enter into the information and technology era, by providing access to the digital catalogue of library holdings, for everyone who is a part of AITD. Currently this digital catalogue can be accessed through the college intranet.
