In the conventional method of roof cleaning, a manual labour has to climb on the roof surface to carry out the cleaning. The cleaning is done with the help of wire brush, which takes a lots of time and at the same time it is a tiring job. Also if the height of the roof is more, than there are chances of falling off from the roof.
The machine is driven by DC Motors and the cleaning is done using High Pressure water jets. It makes use of High pressure water pump. It is able to clean cemented sheets and roof tiles. As compared to the manual cleaning method, the machine cleaning method is more cost efficient and time saving. This machine can also be used for cleaning Flat surfaces such as Fishing docks, Long trailers, footpaths, etc. As compared to the existing machines available in market which costs around 20000/- with respect to that, the cost of the machine made by the students is 15,000/-. The design of the machine is simple and it can be easily operated by a non-technical person.
