UNIVERSAL SORTING MACHINE

Final year Mechanical students have designed and developed the Universal Sorting Machine. Rishabh Naik, Ashwin Naik, Indrakumar Gawas, Shubham Satodkar and Audhut Govekar under the guidance of Professor Gaurish Walke and Professor Amol Patil have developed working model of universal sorting machine for sorting various commodities based on their sizes thus reducing the efforts required by farmers and agricultural industry to grade their commodities. It can be used to grade different sized spherical commodities. It is electrically driven and requires only one operator to run the machine. The Universal Sorting Machine has very less running and maintenance cost. Along with efficient sorting it saves 93% of the cost associated with sorting. This project was appreciated by faculties, users and examiners from industry.
