The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s (IET) Present Around The World (PATW) is a global competition for Young Professionals and Students within Engineering to develop and showcase presentation skills.  The participants, had to deliver a 10 minutes presentation on any engineering or technology related area. AITD won the 1st Runners Up at Happenings 2018 organized by Goa College of Engineering at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim. This was the first time that the students of AITD were allowed to participate in inter collegiate cultural events. Around 70 students from various departments participated in the various events conducted at Happenings.

On the 3rd of November 2017, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) held an event “Education-Industry Connect through project works of Engineering Students of Goa” so that students from the current Final Year batch could display their ideas and innovations on solutions that could help both the common man and the industry.
