ACCESS Student Council 2022-2023 Installation

The Students Executive Council for the academic year 2022-2023 under ACCESS (Association for Confluence of Computer Engineering Students & Senators) was installed by the Department of Computer Engineering of AITD-Assagao  on 15th September 2022.

Ms. Shruti Shenoy welcomed the chief guest, dignitaries, and the participants of the function. The Chief Guest for the function was Ms. Fenil Salgaonkar, co-owner of a renowned post-production studio: Sally’s Studio, Mumbai. She is also the Chief Creative Director of international Projects at Sally’s Studio.

The dignitaries for the function were Prof. Snehal Bhogan, Head of Department and ACCESS President, Prof. Basil Jose -ACCESS Coordinator, Mr. Armaan Shaikh -Outgoing ACCESS Student Chairperson, Ms. Devika Uchil – new ACCESS Chairperson and Ms. Suhesha Gaonkar- new General Secretary.

The function began by lighting of the lamp. The Head of Computer Engineering Department and President of ACCESS, Prof. Snehal Bhogan then addressed the function by stating the importance of students council and the role of the same and wished the students to have a very useful and a wonderful year full of activities ahead. The outgoing chairperson of ACCESS    Mr. Armaan Shaikh presented the report of activities conducted by ACCESS during the academic year 2021-2022. The staff coordinator of ACCESS Prof. Basil Jose introduced the members of the executive council of ACCESS for the academic year 2021-2022. The newly appointed chairperson of ACCESS Mr. Devika Uchil addressed the function and also affirmed to carry out activities during the academic year 2022 – 2023 and make it a grand success.

Ms. Fenil Salgaonkar then addressed the gathering with her valuable words about the activities that can be carried out by a student council and gave an insight of the various cutting-edge technologies in the field of post-production that the students should learn in order to be competent in this era of technology.

Ms. Suhesha Gaonkar – General secretary of ACCESS 2022-2023 proposed the vote of thanks.
