The Department of Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with Institute Innovation Council (IIC), Agnel Institute of Technology and Design-Assagao organized an expert session on March 30, 2022 on the topic “Advanced 3D Modelling of HVAC Systems using BIM-REVIT Software & Career Opportunities for Mechanical Engineer”. The resource person for the session was, Mr. Abdul Majeed, Lead Engineer deltaT MEP Technical Academy, Bengaluru. The session was attended by Final year Mechanical Engineering Students.
The Speaker of the Session, Mr. Abdul Majeed, presented the keynote address on the topic “Advanced 3D Modelling of HVAC Systems using BIM-REVIT Software & Career Opportunities for Mechanical Engineer”. Students were introduced to the concepts of HVAC Design and 3D-Modelling using BIM-Revit Software. A brief idea on how to calculate the capacity of Air Conditioning in Ton of Refrigeration & Air flow requirement was explained. A case study on HVAC 3D-Modelling with all Mechanical Systems was also explained in the session. The overall session helped the students to understand the basics of HVAC Design & the Career Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers in HVAC Industry.
