The basic problem in the food service is that canteens are not realizing efficiencies that would result from better applications of technology in their daily operations.Some canteens and automated system for billing,ordering and managing stock is still a problem.The problem also arises when approximation of provisions to bought and how much of food and what will be ordered the most. There are many reasons leading to the feeling of dissatisfaction including being entertained late in terms of order taking by the waiter and meals serving. To overcome these limitations in manual system, this is proposed to automate food ordering process along with management. Automated food ordering system will be equipped with a user-friendly screen,display screen in the kitchen,and software for completing the process at the backend. For this system there will be a system administrator who will have the rights to enter the menu with their current prevailing prices, change the menu contents by adding or deleting an item. The admin also gets recommendations on provisions to be bought. Customer will place his order withthe help of the web page on their mobile, right from the selection of menu items, confirming the order and viewing offers. The food being served based on first come first serve after showing the e-bill. The servants would be able to see the orders on the display inside the kitchen which will reduce the stress on the servants to tak eorder in chaos and serving.
