A two day workshop was conducted for the students of the Electronics and Communication engineering department by Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering in association with The Institution of Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineers (IETE) members on ‘Practical approach to computer networks’ at Agnel Institute of Technology and Design,Assagao on 28th Feb & 1st March 2019. Ms.Darshata Naik , Asst Prof at AITD was the resource person for the two day workshop.
Various topics such as basic topologies involved in networking ,basics of routers, switches, end-devices ,connection of serial ports and fast Ethernet ports,VLANS,configuring switches etc. was covered. Students also got hands-on experience on all these concepts using network simulators. AITD Assagao has been conducting numerous such activities with an aim to expose the students to various concepts beyond curriculum as a step towards making them more employable in the industry.
