Department of Computer Engineering, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao conducted a one-day workshop on “Blockchain Demystified” for its students. Resource person for the workshop was Mr. Amol Pednekar, Senior Software Engineer in Persistent Systems Ltd, Verna-Goa.
The workshop covered the basics of cryptography and its role in Blockchain technology, introduction to blockchain, software technologies used to implement blockchain based projects. The prime focus of the workshop was the hands-on practical session on using blockchain software platforms such as Multichain and Ethereum in order to give students an insight on the implementation aspect of blockchain technology.
