About
Director of Technical Education, Govt. of Goa has approved 15 seats for admission to First Year of Engineering in each branch and 2 seats for Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry Students) under Management Quota to be admitted by the Institute.
Seats
Admission to First Year & Second Year ENgineering (Lateral Entry for Diploma/B.Sc) students under management quota will be conducted by the college at Agnel Institute of Technology & Design.

Eligibility for Admission to First Year Engineering
For admission to Professional Degree courses included in this prospectus, an applicant must fulfil the following criteria:
NATIONALITY:
Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
AGE:
No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.
VALID SCORE AT ANY ENTRANCE TEST (GCET,KCET,MHTCET etc) OR JEE:
An applicant for Degree courses in Engineering , must have appeared or is will be appearing at any entrance exam held in India like JEE, GCET, KCET, MHCET etc. Score of the previous year/s shall not be valid.
QUALIFYING EXAMINATION & MINIMUM MARKS:
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following
subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational/Computer Science /Information Technology /Information Practices /Agriculture /Engineering Graphics/Business Studies, (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). OR passed Diploma (in Engineering & Technology) examination with atleast 45% marks (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only)

Eligibility for Admission to Second Year of Engineering
(Lateral Entry for Diploma/ B Sc. students)
1. The applicant must have passed the Diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students) aggregate marks at the Diploma course examination conducted by the Goa Board of Technical Education or an equivalent examination, conducted by a recognized Board of Technical Education in India or abroad.
OR
1. The applicant must have passed Bachelor of Science Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std. XIIth and with minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students) marks in the aggregate (Final Year) from Goa University.
2. Vacant seats, if any, under Lateral Entry to Second Year of Engineering courses shall be available for admissions to eligible B Sc. Degree holders, only after all seats are offered first to eligible Diploma holders.
