The main objective of this project is reduction in the number of accidents taking place due to the driver being under the influence of alcohol. This system won’t allow the driver to start the car ignition if he/she is found drunk. The project uses MSP430 Microcontroller along with alcohol sensor (MQ-3) which is responsible for detection of the amount of alcohol consumed by the driver in case the driver is found drunk.
