Two-day prototype development workshop on SolidWorks was organized by AITD Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association Council of Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering in association with Institute Innovation Council from 22/02/2024 to 23/02/2024. The resource person for the workshop were Mr. Saish N. Rivankar, Mr. Gaurish Walke & Mr. Vaibhav Gaunkar. Session on part design was conducted by Mr. Saish N. Rivankar on Day-1. That was followed by Session on Assembly designing and 3D printing by Mr. Gaurish Walke and Mr. Vaibhav Gaonkar respectively on Day-2. The student coordinators for the workshop were Mr. Atharva Deshpande, Mr. Pranav Mahale and Mr. Sagun Sawant. The workshop was attended by 17 students from various diploma colleges of Goa. Students learned various 3D modelling tools and hands on training on 3D printing. Finally, Students taken for tour of college during which Students visited Hi-Tech Lab to see CNC machines and Go-Kart. Finally, certificates for the participants were distributed. The successful event was closed with vote of thanks from Mr. Saish Rivankar.
