Smart India Hackathon 2025 Software Edition @ AITD

The Internal Hackathon Round (Software Edition) for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 was held on 24th September 2025 at Agnel Institute of Technology and Design. The event was organized by the Computer Engineering Department in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC).
The hackathon saw overwhelming participation, with 108 students from various departments taking part. The event was judged by Mr. Sanjay Mulvi, Head – Seed Fund and Incubation, Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration, and Mr. Devanshu Joshi, CEO, iMetaTechnologies, who also interacted with the participants and shared their insights.

The hackathon provided a platform for students to showcase their problem-solving abilities, creativity, and teamwork. The initiative was well received and appreciated by participants and faculty members.
The event concluded with the announcement of results, prize distribution, and a group photograph.

Coordination

The program was coordinated by Ms. Valerie Menezes (Internal Hackathon Coordinator), with support from faculty coordinators Mr. Basil Jose, Mr. Ashish Narvekar, Mrs. Snehal Bhogan, Mrs. Nora Naik, and Mrs. Vaishnavi Kamat.
Student volunteers included Gauraang Nayak, Atharva Mahale, Harsh Natekar, Krishna Nagvekar, Areeb Shaikh, Sanjit Shetkar, Sanjali Sambranikar, Shreyan Gad, Sangharsh Bhatkekar, Yash Gaonkar, and Siraj Naik. Refreshments were arranged for all participants and the organizing team.

The event concluded successfully at 8:00 PM.
