The Training & Placement Office (TPO) of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design recently organised an awareness session on GATE 2026 for our final year students. The session was conducted by Dr.Ruma Ghosh, Associate Professor from IIT Dharwad, who shared valuable insights on:
The importance of GATE for higher studies and career opportunities
Preparation strategies and resources
Opportunities in research, public sector, and beyond
Along with Dr. Ghosh’s engaging talk, the session was supported by our TPO team – Ms. Nora Naik, Mr. Gaurish Walke (Deputy TPO), and Ms. Yogini Lamgaonkar, Mr. Ashley Fernandes and other faculties including Mr. Saish Rivankar, Mr. Prathamesh Bhat and Mr. Prajyot Gaonkar – who guided and motivated students to actively participate and benefit from this initiative.
The session encouraged students to start early, prepare strategically, and explore the multiple pathways that GATE offers for their academic and professional growth.
