Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Department of Management Studies in collaboration with Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell organized a webinar on September 18, 2023, titled “Mutual funds a tool for financial empowerment” in the MBA Lecture Hall, in an online mode. This session was attended by the MBA first year students along with the faculty of the Department of Management. Assistant Professor Giselle Dias formally introduced Mr. Suryakant Sharma, Senior Consultant at AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds India) to the audience.
Mr. Sharma through his webinar emphasized on the significance of investment in every individual’s life and how mutual funds play a significant role in the investment plans. He educated the students about the benefits of taking risks while investing in relation to returns on investments and that investments should be made as per the individual goals.
