Institution Innovation Council in association with Basic Science & Humanities Department of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design (AITD) organized expert session on August 9, 2023, titled ‘Career Guidance & Skill Development’ in Multipurpose hall, AITD. The session was attended by First year students as part of the induction programme.
The facilitator Mr. Vishal Desai, began by emphasizing on the importance of career planning and skill enhancement in today’s competitive world. He then discussed the significance of identifying one’s strengths, interests and values in order to make well-informed career decisions.
The facilitator gave an overview of skills crucial for innovation which included critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability and communication. He also highlighted the synergy between these skills and their contribution to innovative thinking.
