The National Sports Day was held on August 26, 2023, at the Agnel Institute of technology and design in Assagao Bardez, Goa, in honour of the great hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. Students and faculty members were educated on the significance of ‘Sports’ and National Sports Day. To mark the significance of National sports Day, the college organized a variety of sporting activities designed to instil in students a sense of true sportsmanship while also strengthening their physical and social skills.
Control Cricket, Futsal, Table Tennis, Badminton are some of the games that were played, Many Staff Members and students engaged in other recreation activities like a plank hold challenge. Students were seen playing with excellent team spirit, and the National Sports Day celebration could be heard echoing through the halls.
