Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Institution Innovation Council in collaboration with Goa State Innovation Council (GSInC) organized a bootcamp on August 10, 2023 titled ‘Innovation, Prototyping & Startups’ in the Seminar Hall in offline mode. The session was attended by Third year students. Bootcamp introduced the students with the concepts of innovation and creativity and also helped them understand the process behind becoming a tech start-up. Students were briefed about planning, execution and implementation of start-up. Bootcamp was facilitated by Mr. Shivraj Naik, Mentor, Prototyping Lab – Goa State Innovation Council and entrepreneurs namely Mr. Sushant Surlakar and Mr. Haroon Sayed. Some of the key topics covered included Virtual Innovation Register, Ideation with focus on Problem Solving, How to convert an Idea to an Enterprise and Support Schemes for starting up. All the resource persons practiced experience based, practical input sharing and thus was enjoyed by all the students. Students also got their doubts pertaining to entrepreneurship clarified from the Resource Persons. Bootcamp was co-ordinated by Ms. Nora Naik, IIC President at AITD
