A farewell celebration was organised by the Computer Engineering Department on 9th June 2023 at
2pm in the afternoon for the Final year students of computer engineering branch in the
multipurpose hall. The faculty coordinators for this event were Ms. Valerie Menezes, Mr. Shreedatta
Sawant and Ms. Lyzandra D’Souza. Various student assisted in doing all the arrangements for the
celebrations. Mr. Neel Souza, Mr. Vignesh Naik, Ms. Madiha shaikh and Ms. Shriya Kamat were
responsible for the decorations. Mr. Parth Naik, Mr. Anket Bandodkar, Mr. Bhavesh Melwani and
Mr. Atreya Kamat were responsible for photography and videography. Ms. Lorraine Pinto and Ms.
Suhesha Gaonkar were responsible for compering and organizing games for the event. Mr. Zubin
Rodrigues, Mr. Ethan Menezes ,Mr. Yadnesh Gawas and students from other branches were
responsible for playing melodious songs for the celebration
The event began with a speech delivered by the Head of Computer Engineering Department, Prof.
Snehal Bhogan. This was followed by video testimonial of students being played. The faculty
members and student were then requested to say a few words on their experiences in college.
This was followed by interesting games being played for the students. Also there were spot prizes
being given out. Apart from this certificates of appreciation and scrolls (sponsored by RedBull) was
given to deserving students for their remarkable achievements.
A farewell cake was arranged for the celebration. The memory lane video prepared students Mr.
Vinay Kumar, Mr. Vassant Kalangutkar and Mr. Nandan Parab was played to reminisce all the
wonderful memories of college life. The celebration concluded with the student band (comprising
of students from all branches ) playing melodious songs for the final year students.
The celebration was attended by all computer engineering department staff as well members from
other departments as well.
Overall it was a joyous and momentous occasion for all students and staff.
