To test the technical and programming skills and developing Problem solving capabilities ROBOCLUB of AITD had organised a ROBOLINEA – Line Follower Competition under AICTE – Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students (SPICES) on 01st December 2022.
Students were given a set of guidelines on which the bot must be designed and compete on the specially designed track. A total of 6 teams from ROBOCLUB took part in the competition. Each team was given two rounds and the time taken for finishing the track was noted. Mr. Saaesh Khandolkar completed the track with a least time of 1.41 mins and was declared as the Winner. Team GLADIATORS who managed to complete in 2.31 mins and were secured Runner Up position in the competition.
Fr. Agnelo Gomes, Director ATEC, Fr. Issac Fernandes, Asst. Director ATEC, Advisor Dr. V Mariappan, Principal Dr. J William and Registrar Prof. Laxmikant Bordekar handed over the Prize money and the Certificates to the Winners and Runners up. Faculty advisors Prof. Shiva Krishna J, Prof. Vrushali Prabhudessai and Prof. Diksha Khorjuvekar handed over the Certificates to the other participants and co-ordinated the competition.
