ROBOCLUB of AITD organised MOBIBOTIX – Mobile Robotics Workshop for the first year Roboclub members under AICTE – Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students (SPICES) from 13th to 18th October 2022 for First year Robovlub studebts.

Mr. Lorraine Pinto, Executive member of ROBOCLUB welcomed the Roboclub Faculty Cordinators, Roboclub members and Participants for the Workshop. Ms. Sairaj Fougeri, Executive member of ROBOCLUB introduced the speaker Prof. Shiva Krishna J. and provided the overview of the workshop.

This workshop gave students the knowledge of Basics of Arduino development board and building basic robots like Bluetooth controlled, Obstacle avoiding and Line following robots. The workshop was held in the Computer centre from 3.00pm to 5.00pm for four days. Roboclub council members moderated the sessions and helped the students during the workshop.

The Club provided the students with the materials required for the workshop. The students were trained to boost their confidence and participate in various events and competitions. The Mobibotics workshop concluded with the certificate distribution for the successfully completed students. A total of 49 first year Roboclub students participated and benefitted from the workshop. Faculty Advisors Prof. Vrushali Prabhudessai and Prof. Diksha Prabhu Khorjuvenkar coordinated the workshop. Mr.Krishna Nagvenkar and Mr.Atharva Joshi gave a verbal feedback about the session. Mr.Valentino Fernandes, President of Roboclub proposed the vote of thanks.
