Institute Innovation Council (IIC) in association with Basic Science & Humanities Department, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design organized a webinar on 30 September, 2021, titled ‘Skill Development’ as part of the First-year students induction programme. The webinar was attended by more than 100 First year students.
Our alumni, Mr. Shaunak Pai Kane, AI & ML Developer, TCS-Hyderabad delivered an insightful and inspiring session where he stressed on skill development and said that being a country of young population, there are lots of opportunities as well as challenges for India to develop both hard and soft skills among youth. The web interaction proved very effective and enlightening while motivating first year students to acquire necessary skills and expertise to increase their employability. During the talk, he discussed the various initiatives being taken by AICTE to provide Entrepreneurship/employability opportunities for engineering graduates.
