Department of Computer Engineering conducts ACCESS Student Council 2021-2022 Installation

The Students Executive Council for the academic year 2021-2022 under ACCESS (Association for Confluence of Computer Engineering Students & Senators) was installed by the Department of Computer Engineering of AITD-Assagao  on 25th September 2021.

Ms. Lizanne Fernandes welcomed the chief guest, dignitaries, and the participants of the function. The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. Sachin Kale, Founder and Director of Stanza Infotech Pvt. Ltd and SK Group. He manufactures metal sheet components in the SK Group of companies and also undertakes software projects as a part of Stanza Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

The dignitaries for the function were Prof. Snehal Bhogan, Head of Department and ACCESS President, Prof. Ashish Narvekar-ACCESS Coordinator, Prof. Kedar Sawant-ACCESS Coordinator, Mr. Rahil Keni -Outgoing ACCESS Student Chairperson, Mr. Armaan Shaikh- new ACCESS Chairperson and Mr. Anish Kulkarni – new General Secretary.

The function began by lighting of lamp in the online mode. The Head of Computer Engineering Department and President of ACCESS, Prof. Snehal Bhogan then addressed the function by stating the importance of students council and the role of the same and wished the students to have a very useful and a wonderful year full of activities ahead. The outgoing chairperson of ACCESS Mr. Rahil Keni presented the report of activities conducted by ACCESS during the academic year 2020-2021. The staff coordinator of ACCESS Prof. Ashish Narvekar introduced the members of the executive council of ACCESS for the academic year 2021-2022. The newly appointed chairperson of ACCESS Mr. Armaan Shaikh addressed the function and also affirmed to carry out activities during the academic year 2021-2022 and make it a grand success.

Mr. Sachin Kale then addressed the gathering with his valuable words about the activities that can be carried out by a student council and gave an insight of the various cutting-edge technologies that the students should learn in order to be competent in this era of technology.

Mr. Anish Kulkarni – General secretary of ACCESS 2021-2022 proposed the vote of thanks.
