Students Council ACCESS (Association for Confluence of Computer Engineering Students & Senators) of Computer Engineering Department, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design conducted a one-day webinar titled “Cybersecurity: Principles and Practice” on 19th June 2021 for awareness on cyber threats and various aspects of cybersecurity.
The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Pratik Kamat, Alumni of AITD and Founder of the company TeamBounters which offers various courses in cybersecurity. The topics covered in the webinar included basics of information security, demonstration of cyber-attacks, demand of cybersecurity experts, skills required to become cybersecurity experts and career opportunities. The webinar witnessed participation by more than 90 students. It was conducted in online mode via Google Meet.
