Present Around The World [ PATW ]

Goa University Level Competition-2020

Computer Engineering Department of Agnel Institute of Technology & Design (AITD), in association with “The Institution of Engineering and Technology”, UK, IET On-Campus Student Chapter, successfully conducted Present Around The World (PATW-Goa University Level) Competition on 28th February 2020.

Present around the World (PATW) is the IET’s presentation competition for students, recent graduates, apprentices and young professionals aged 18 to 30.

Competitors are asked to give a presentation for 10 minutes on a subject related to engineering and technology, and to answer questions for a further five minutes. The event is mainly to judge presentation skills, although the topic should be appropriate to the intended audience of students and young professionals.

25 IET Student members of Computer engineering department participated in the competition in which they presented various engineering related topics and technical ideas.

Mr. Saurabh Naik, Assistant Professor, Computer Engineering Dept.

Ms. Dhriti Amlani and Mr. Raheel Shaikh from 3rd year secured the 1st and 2nd place respectively.

Both the winners will be representing Goa at the Mumbai Local Network Level PATW Competition which will be held in March 2020. Winners from various regions like Goa, Mumbai, Gujarat, Nashik, Dhule will be contesting in the competition, winners of which will qualify for South Asia PATW. The event was coordinated by Mr. Sagar K. Naik, Faculty Coordinator, IET Student Chapter.
