Hydroponics is a technique in which we grow the plant without using the soil. In This technique we ensure that plant gets all nutrients from the nutrient solution. There are many types of hydroponics system. The NFT being one of the hydroponics technique types. In this technique which grows the plants by supplying the nutrient to the root of the plant using water channels until the plants harvested. By using this technique, the plant roots will be always dipped into the water channel containing nutrients and oxygen water flow. This technique can be used to grow plants indoor also. The major problem with these system is manually checking the contents of nutrients in water, temperature, humidity and the flow of water .In recent times the concept of Internet of things has gained popularity and evolution of IOT has made it possible to achieve the automated hydroponics system. The proposed hydroponics monitoring and automation system that will be monitored using sensors and microcontrollers .In this system the person sitting at his work place will be able to monitor the hydroponics plant with minimal manual human assistance.
