He has pursued his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 1981. He has completed M.E. in Industrial Engineering from Goa University in the year 1991. He has completed PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from IIT-Bombay in 2004.
