The Department offers a myriad of courses that emphasizes on the core concepts of Mechanical Engineering, treating today’s systems as current examples of the underlying concepts.

The Department has around 250 students, 12 teaching staff members and 7 technical staff members who enlighten students to instill in themselves a deep self-learning. The students are not only trained in attaining academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through industrial visits, corporate talks, workshops & projects .The department conducts various internship programs and focuses on ‘industry-oriented’ practicals in its state-of-art’ laboratories to enable a smooth transition from an academic to professional working environment.  The Class ambience gives the students a platform to develop their creativity and innovation. The department has 10 laboratories with all the required equipment that gives real time exposure to the students.  In addition to this internship programs and field visits are part of the program.
