The ACCESS, Student Council of Computer Engineering Students of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design jointly with M/s Innovians Technologies, Noida – India have organized a Two-Days Workshop on “Augmented Reality” for the second and third year students from 6th March to 7th March 2020 at Computer Centre, Main Block, AITD. The Resource person for the workshop was Mr. DINESH TAVASALKAR, Professional Freelance Trainer and Developer from Innovians Technologies, Noida – an associate training partner for TECHNEX’20 – a National Annual Techno-Management Festival, organized by Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.
This two days workshop provided a real-time hands-on experience on various features of Unity and Vuforia – Engine which includes creating Augmented Reality apps, adding basic and advanced computer vision functionality to any application, recognizing images and objects, Manipulating textual data and interacting with spaces in the real world, etc.
The workshop received a wide participation of 51 students from Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. During the valedictory function Prof. Snehal Bhogan HOD of Computer Engineering and Prof. Sagar K Naik, Assistant Professor and Staff Coordinator/ACCESS presented the Certificate of Participation (from Innovians Technologies and TECHNEX 2020 of IIT Varanasi) to all the participants.
Prof. Valerie Menezes, Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering and also the Workshop Coordinator made arrangement for the entire workshop in all aspects. The Workshop concluded with the Group Photo Session.
