Computer Engineering Department of Agnel Institute of Technology & Design (AITD) installed “The Institution of Engineering and Technology”, UK, IET Student Chapter Committee for the academic year 2019-2020 on 17th October 2020 from 4.00PM to 5.00PM. The Chief Guest for the inaugural function was Mr. Vimal Chaubey, Chairperson, YP IET Mumbai Local Network and Mr. Hiren Chauhan, Digital Strategist, was present as Guest Speaker. Prof. Snehal Bhogan, Head of Computer Engineering Department welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of such student chapters in improving various academic and technical skills of the students. Mr. Vimal Chaubey briefed the students about various technical events that IET conducts every year and how such these events can contribute in overall development of students. The IET-AITD Coordinator, Prof. Sagar Naik introduced the Committee In-charges of IET for the academic year 2020-2021.
Ms. Prachi Mahambrey, the Outgoing Chairperson of IET Students Committee, presented the report of the IET activities conducted in the year 2019-2020. Mr. Samuel Furtado, newly appointed Chairperson, addressed the function and also affirmed to carry out activities in the academic year 2020-2021 to benefit the overall development of the Students. Post Inaugural function, Mr. Hiren Chauhan, Digital Strategist and Founder of HC Business Solutions & Consulting Pvt Ltd, Mumbai had a technical session on DIGITAL MARKETTING in which he discussed various aspects of digital marketing and how it is becoming the most widely used marketing mode in today’s world. Also, scope of computer engineering in the field of digital marketing was highlighted. The program was attended by total 56 students and was conducted in online mode via Google Meet. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sagar Naik.
