The Computer Service Group (CSG) of AITD-Assagao,Goa in association with ACCESS, Student Council of Computer Engineering Department of AITD-Assagao,Goa organized a webinar on GitHub Campus Program @ AITD on 10th October 2020.
Prof. Basil Jose, Asst. Prof. Computer Engg. Dept, AITD conducted the webinar. AITD has recently tied up with GitHub Inc to start a GitHub Campus Program at AITD. It is for the first time in Goa that an institute has tied up with GitHub Inc. The webinar gave an insight to the students on how to access the tools and events they need to shape the next generation of software development. There’s no substitute for hands-on experience. But for most students, real world tools can be cost-prohibitive. The GitHub Campus Program provides students free access to the best developer tools in one place so they can learn by doing.
The webinar witnessed participation by more than 100 students. It was conducted in online mode via Microsoft Teams.
