Students Council ACCESS (Association for Confluence of Computer Engineering Students & Senators) of Computer Engineering Department, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao-Goa in association with Dev Cluster-Goa organized a design event titled “CREATIONS” from 1st November 2020 to 16th November 2020.
The event comprised of two phases:
Phase 1- Bootcamp for guidance on Blender – the free and open source 3D creation suite. The participants were guided on the usage of various features of Blender such as modelling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, etc.
Phase 2- A competition wherein the participants had to create a 3D model from a reference image given to them.
The event witnessed participation by 41 students from various colleges from Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The first place of the competition was bagged by Mr. Archit Borkar, student of Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi-Goa and second place was bagged by a team of Mr. Vibhav Parulekar and Mr. Sattyam Mane, students of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna-Goa.
The competition was judged by Mr. Balkrishna Kamat – CEO, Animation Studio and Ms. Aarti Kamat – Manging Partner at EDUTEK SOLUTIONS.
