ABOUT DEPARTMENT
<p style="text-align:justify"> The department of Electronics and Communications Engineering was established in the year 2012. The department offers an Under Graduate program in Electronics and Communications Engineering. The programme was approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), India. The sanctioned seats are 60 per academic year. The Department comprises of highly experienced 13 teaching faculties and 5 technical assistants with their guidance and assistance students have excelled in their academics. The Class ambiance gives the students a platform to develop their creativity and innovation. The department has 10 laboratories with all the required equipment that gives real time exposure to the students. In addition to this, internship and fields’ visits are part of the programme.</p>

To facilitate transformation of Electronics and Communications Engineering students into good human beings, responsible citizens and competent Engineers, focusing on development of technologies and innovations appropriate to sustainable economic growth and enrichment of quality of life.

Electronics and Communication Enginaeering Department of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design seeks to accomplish the objectives of:
- Attainment of excellence in teaching, research and service through competency based teaching-learning
- Enactment in creation and synthesis of new knowledge in the field of electronics Engineering for the benefit of all stake holders
- Aspiring to establish a system which helps the students to improve their knowledge and technical capabilities and to acquire and live up to global standards in order to enhance their employability
- Striving to instill upon the learners to apply the knowledge gained for the benefit of humankind as a whole, to think beyond boundaries and to uphold ethics and good values with utmost integrity
- To equip students to acquire engineering degree with skills to comprehend, analyze, design and create innovative solutions for real life problems.
