CASE STUDY

The Entrepreneurship Cell of Agnel Institute of Technology & Design is organizing a case study competition. The objective of this competition is to create a competitive environment and to encourage students to collaborate and develop a strategy that will work best to establish and market a particular idea. The theme for this year is ENVIROPRENEURSHIP- “When Environmentalism meets Business”.

Topics

Students can select any one of the following topics based on their interest:
Biodiesel production
• Coconut tree based cottage industry


Event Description

Round 1: Executive Summary

Registered teams will compete against each other in a display of creativity and clarity of thought.Entries reaching us after the deadline will not be entertained for evaluation under any circumstances.

The teams need to submit the presentation through mail to nn@aitdgoa.edu.in within the Deadline 09th March 2017
The teams will be given a chance to present their solution.

Round 2: Final Presentation

Teams will need to present their comprehensive case study. Final round will comprise of Q and A with judges and interactions with representatives from incubation organizations.

Round 3: Presentation at Colloquium 2017

Best 3 case studies from the Business Plan Round will get to present their idea during Colloquium 2017 to be held on 17th March 2017.


Rules

Teams will need to have unique team names of their choice and will be required to nominate a team lead. The proposed venture's name may be same or different than the team name. The teams are required to indicate team name during registration. All submissions, beginning executive summary, shall indicate both team name and proposed venture name.

Any supplementary information meant for the teams will be communicated directly to the team lead subsequently via email.


Team Composition

• The event is open for teams comprising of 3rd year and final year students from any department.
• A team should have 2 members. Members can be from any department. All the members may or may not be from the same department.
• One participant cannot be part of more than one team.
• No change in the team structure is permitted after the team is registered. Please register your team after careful thought and deliberation.

All contestants own the rights to their ideas

Contestants must properly acknowledge any trademarks or copyrighted materials of others that are incorporated into the contestants’ materials. The contestants are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission before incorporating such materials into their submissions.

The judging/presentation will be conducted in an open meeting with possible attendance by faculty, students and staff.


Prizes

1st Prize     Rs 3000/- along with 6-months mentoring & incubation at CIBA, Assagao.
2nd Prize    Rs 2000/- along with 6-months mentoring & incubation at CIBA, Assagao.
